Im fünften Wiener Gemeindebezirk nahe des Naschmarkts liegen die Räumlichkeiten eines ehemaligen Perückenmachers. Für das Künstlerpaar Markus Muntean und Adi Rosenblum wurden sie zu Maleratelier, Researchbibliothek und Ausstellungsraum umgebaut. Die tragenden Wände im Ausstellungsbereich wurden zur Gänze abgebrochen und durch Stahlbetonrahmen ersetzt. So entstand ein großer, offener Raum, der von den neu geschaffenen Toren in drei Bereiche unterteilt wird. Der Eingang führt direkt in die Bibliothek, während der ruhige hintere Bereich mit Zugang zum Innenhofpatio zum kontemplativen Malraum wird. 

Um die durchgehende Raumwirkung der Kappendecke nicht zu unterbrechen, sind alle Lichtkörper an den Wänden platziert. Das ausschließlich indirekte Licht wurde im oberen Wandbereich angebracht, um möglichst viel Wandfläche zu schaffen und gleichzeitig eine flächendeckende Beleuchtung der Kappendecke zu bewirken. Eine durchgehende Fußbodenheizung hält die Wände von Atelier und Ausstellungsraum frei von Heizkörpern.

The premises of a former wigmaker are located in Vienna's fifth district near the Naschmarkt. They were converted into a painter's studio, research library and exhibition space for the artist couple Markus Muntean and Adi Rosenblum. The load-bearing walls in the exhibition area were completely demolished and replaced by reinforced concrete frames. This created a large, open space, which is divided into three areas by the newly created doors. The entrance leads directly into the library, while the quiet rear area with access to the courtyard patio becomes a contemplative painting space.

In order not to interrupt the continuous spatial effect of the canopy ceiling, all light fixtures are placed on the walls. The exclusively indirect light was installed in the upper wall area in order to create as much wall space as possible and, at the same time, to bring about an area-wide illumination of the canopy ceiling. A continuous underfloor heating system keeps the walls of the studio and exhibition space free of radiators.
